About

As an equestrian my early years were in competitive showing, including at Horse of the Year Show and the Royal International, and at one time being a registered judge for the National Pony Society. I am now lucky enough to ride retired competition horses, with all the benefits of fresh air and lively rides.  My professional work with dogs began several years ago with helping at a local training centre, their dog agility team goes from strength to strength and there is still much to be learnt from them.

Building on my professional qualifications, I completed a Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2024, graduating with Distinction, and have a research paper in pre-print http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.4947893

Being able to apply my knowledge and skill to help improve wellbeing and performance is the fulfillment of a lifelong goal. In the competitive space I am driven by the pursuit of results such as a softer outline and greater cadence in dressage, boldness in the cross-country, or confident turns and speed in dog agility. Equally as important to me are our companion animals, reducing pain, increasing strength, and supporting their continued vitality is a privilege.
